Making Quinte West Work
For You

Like many places in Ontario, Quinte West residents are struggling with an affordability crisis, a lack of family doctors and attainable housing, and struggling to manage road and infrastructure costs.

I believe that now is the time for the next generation of leaders to step forward to address these issues head on. My campaign will be a positive one, built on proven ideas and a strong vision for our future.

Mayoral Campaign Introduction

A New Kind of Leadership

Born in 1987 in Napanee, I've lived nearly my entire life in the Bay of Quinte. After attending Brock and Queen's University, my brother and I built and operated a successful business in Quinte West for a decade. My wife is a chocolatier at an award winning chocolate shop. Our son, Julian, was born in 2025 and has been a true blessing.

You'll often find us walking our dog Fox around city parks and regional trails. She's a rescue who can be a handful, but we love her all the same. We all live in Trenton ward, which I represent on Quinte West council.

Entrepreneurship and community service have always been important to me. I served for seven years as a director with the Chamber of Commerce, supporting local businesses. I have also served the past three years as a director with Community Partners for Success, a local food kitchen and resource centre for the unhoused and vulnerable populations in Quinte West.

In 2022, I was elected to city council with fresh solutions for today's challenges. I was selected to chair two committees. I'm proud of so much work that those committees and council have done during that time. But there is much more to do.

In Our Community

The Best For Quinte West Is Yet to Come

I ran for Quinte West council three and a half years ago to bring new ideas, passion and private sector experience to City Hall. I have learned so much and worked with folks from every corner of our city along the way. It has been a great honour serving as a city councillor and working to deliver positive change. But there is much more work to do.

Quinte West is a great city with wonderful businesses and organizations, an essential hospital and invaluable Air Base, incredible natural beauty and a strong sense of community. Despite our challenges, I believe that today, more than ever, the best for Quinte West is yet to come.

Key Campaign Priorities

Family Doctors

Securing local healthcare means creating a competitive environment that attracts and keeps dedicated family physicians in Quinte West. We can create tools to support practices that want to grow and take on patients without a doctor.

Affordability

I am committed to addressing municipal cost drivers and maximizing every dollar we currently spend to help seniors, working families and young people manage the cost of living.

Attainable Housing

I want to work with the next council to leverage the City's existing Housing Action Plan, using the housing CIP program to increase attainable housing stock, especially the type of "missing middle" housing that young people and downsizing seniors need.

Ward Reform

It's time for for Quinte West to update our council seat allocation and ensure fair representation for all. We can keep the historic township and village boundaries and make our local democracy work for everyone.

Waterfront & Industrial Development

Leveraging our beautiful waterfront and investing in industrial lands will create jobs, drive sustainable economic growth, and lower the tax burden on the residents of Quinte West.
